While looking for legitimate writing websites that pay, I came across DayTipper, which pays $1 for tips. Submitted tips must be less than 500 characters, but contain information which is both useful and unique. The DayTipper staff reviews the tips, and accepts the best ones.
This week, I submitted 9 tips. I got an email saying one was rejected, but I didn't let it bother me. So far they've published 5,064 out of 38,710 total tip submissions. A few days passed and I heard nothing. But I brainstormed, I wrote long lists of possible tip topics. I did some research.
Tonight, I found not one but four acceptances. Needless to say, it's a wonderful feeling. Granted four bucks is barely enough for a Big Mac, it's the wide open window that is the real reward.
